Project Details
Frontier Texas is an immersive history museum in Abilene, Texas, dedicated to interpreting the settlement of the Texas frontier through interactive exhibits, storytelling and authentic artifacts. As a gateway to the Texas Forts Trail Region, the museum preserves and shares the people, cultures and events that shaped the American West.
The 2023 Annual Report was designed to communicate the museum’s progress while supporting its long-term vision for growth. It highlighted fundraising achievements, educational programs, community partnerships and plans to expand the museum’s exhibit space for future traveling and permanent exhibitions.
A featured section honored H.C. Zachry—Abilene civic leader, advertising pioneer, philanthropist and one of the museum’s founders. The cover painting was created as a tribute to his lasting influence on both the community and Frontier Texas.
Rather than presenting financial information alone, the publication tells the museum’s story for donors, civic leaders and tourism partners across Texas. It became an important communication tool for building awareness, strengthening support and contributing to the momentum behind the museum’s continued expansion.
